If a buyer is working with a longer timeline, putting the lead on a long-term hold will keep it assigned to you, while moving it to a separate "Long-Term Hold" section of the Pipeline. Once the hold period expires, the lead will automatically be moved to the "Long-Term - Ready For Followup" section of the Pipeline.
To place a lead on a long-term hold, first select the lead you want to update from your Lender Portal dashboard. Click the blue "Edit" button to the right of the lead to be taken into that lead's account.
Once there, scroll down until you see the "Status" section, and click on the green "Update" button. Under "New Status," click on the dropdown menu, and select "Long-Term Hold" from the list of status options. After adding a hold period and notes into required fields, be sure to click "Save" at the bottom of the window to save the updates.
