To improve your experience with Opcity, we’ve made some changes to the various client statuses which you will be able to choose from when updating a client record.
Going forward, you’ll now have 8 possible statuses to assign to a client. Please note that several have new names to better align with how you interact with clients.
"NEW": This status replaces "PENDING" and has been renamed to better reflect the new opportunity. No activity on your part has yet been taken on "NEW" leads.
"ACTIVELY PURSUING": This status replaces "ACTIVELY WORKING" and is to be used when you’ve made attempts to speak with a client, but have not yet spoken.
"APPLICATION TAKEN": This status remains the same and is to be used when you’ve had an opportunity to speak and received information to evaluate a client’s credit.
"PRE-QUALIFIED": This status replaces "PRE-APPROVED" to more accurately reflect the earlier stage in the mortgage process.
"UNDER CONTRACT": This is a new status for clients that have been pre-approved for a loan amount and had an offer accepted.
"CLOSED": This status remains the same.
"LONG TERM HOLD": This status replaces "LONG TERM - HOLDING" and is for clients looking to buy more than 6 months out.
"NO LONGER WORKING": This status remains the same.
"LONG TERM - READY FOR FOLLOWUP": This status remains the same and is visible on your Pipeline page. These are clients that have completed the hold time frame you originally set, and are now opportunities to contact again.
In addition to the new statuses and name changes, there’s now a number next to each status to indicate how many clients are in each stage. We’ve also added search and filtering tools to help you find clients and transactions more quickly.
